I love editing. And have, by now, edited over one-hundred novels—for top publishing companies, and for independent authors. I am currently open to editing submissions from independent authors only. HOW DOES BOOK EDITING WITH ME WORK?

Right now, I am interested in working with independent authors only.

My editing style is unique, open, and constructive. I don’t just provide authors with a marked manuscript like most other editors do, but also a constructive feedback report, bespoke to you and your writing style.

My aim as an editor is to enhance what is on the page, to bring each character to life, and to showcase the author’s voice as much as possible.

Despite my experience and success as a bestselling author, my editing rates are industry standard (in line with SFEP rates). But do note that these fees are for independent authors only.

In a Full Developmental Edit I will supply the author with detailed annotated manuscript that will right the wrongs of their novel (fixes of any spelling, grammar punctuation and all other technical element errors) as well as comments on any developmental plot edits I feel are required to improve your story. You will also receive a detailed report that will offer my honest opinion on your novel overall, as well as a breakdown of the work I have carried out on it. I aim to make the editing process as straightforward for the author as I can, and to offer constructive notes.

£775 up to 80,000-words and £5 per 1,000-words thereafter
